Project Description
Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation(iastm) is a special tecnique to mobilise the fascia. fascia is the covering of muscle which is continous from head to toe and in many of the conditions it is definitely affected and is often left out, thus pain persists.
IASTM is a technique that involves using instruments to address musculoskeletal pathology-related impairments and help heal soft tissues. When a stimulus is applied to the injured soft tissue using an instrument, the activity and the number of fibroblasts increase, along with fibronectin, through localized inflammation, which then facilitates the synthesis and realignment of collagen is one of the proteins that makes up the extracellular matrix. Some studies have reported that IASTM can reduce pain caused due to sports injury and improve soft tissue function and joint range of motion (ROM)
AT HARSIMRAN PHYSIOTHERAPY & REHABILITATION CLINIC we address this fascial release by specialised instrument like polar to give permanent pain relief.
